Camera Settings

Shutter speed causes differences in motion capture

Changes the amount of light being let into the lens

ISO is the camera’s sensitivity to light, different from exposure. Every camera has its native ISO.

High ISO can cause grain and noise in the picture or video

Raw footage

When you are NOT filming in RAW, Colour is produced by filtering each photo site (or pixel) to produce either red, green or blue values. In a video signal, each pixel contains full colour and brightness information; video can tell each pixel on a monitor how bright to be and what colour.

When shooting in RAW. The sensor outputs exactly what it sees—no white balance, ISO or other colour adjustments are there. This, along with a high bit rate, allows for a huge amount of adjustment in post.
