My Manifesto - Week 1

A Manifesto is a written statement outlining one's beliefs, principles, and intentions, often used to express a passionate and clear statement of purpose or ideology.

Manifestos can be used for defining a creative vision, this meaning that sometimes manifestos are used to outline an artistic movement. They set the tone and principles for artists to follow within a particular style or genre.

One of the peoples that can use manifestos can be both start-ups and established businesses. They can create manifestos to define their corporate culture, values, and commitment to customers and employees.

Before working on writing our own manifesto, we were tasked with researching examples of existing manifesto's. Ones that stood out to me explored the ideas of freedom and self expression with arts. We all put our examples into one Padlet board which I will attach down below.

While writing our own Digital Media Production Manifesto, we have considered our set of values we wish to tackle and represent within our work. We were spit into four groups and later we have merged our ideas together, into a one shared manifesto. It was not an easy task to combine so many ideas into one, however, I believe that in the end we have managed to give everyone a say in creating our meaningful manifesto.
